Use cases

Reach your servers from any device

Put every server and every device on one private network and stop exposing SSH to the internet

Encrypted WireGuard tunnel

Nothing left exposed

Close SSH, databases, and dashboards to the internet and reach them over the VPN instead.

Servers anywhere

Machines at any provider, in a rack, or under a desk join the same private network.

Addresses that stay put

Every device keeps its own VPN address, so scripts and bookmarks keep working.

Set it up

About ten minutes from a fresh server to your first connected device

  1. Install WarpSpeed

Use a small cloud server with a public IP as the meeting point for everything else.

curl -fsSL https://warpspeedvpn.net/install.sh | sudo bash
  2. Let devices reach each other

In Settings, turn on Client to client, and set Routes to the VPN network, 10.99.0.0/16, so servers keep their own internet connection.

  3. Add each server as a device

Download its WireGuard configuration and bring the tunnel up with the WireGuard tools for Linux.

    sudo cp warpspeed.conf /etc/wireguard/warpspeed.conf
    sudo systemctl enable --now wg-quick@warpspeed
  4. Connect your laptop

Add your laptop, desktop, or phone the same way and reach every server at its VPN address.
