Install WarpSpeed on Debian

Your own WireGuard VPN on Debian 11 or later

  1. Start with a fresh server

    A minimal Debian install with a public IP address is all WarpSpeed needs.

  2. Install curl if it is missing

    Minimal images sometimes leave it out.

    apt-get update && apt-get install --yes curl

  3. Run the installer

    Run the installer as root, or with sudo if you have it.

    curl -fsSL https://warpspeedvpn.net/install.sh | sudo bash

  4. Claim your server

    Open the setup link the installer prints, choose a name, and set your password.

Debian runs no firewall by default, so only your provider's firewall needs the ports.
